Stavross 16,018 Posted October 18, 2023 Report Share Posted October 18, 2023 Finished the dig by 2:30 yesterday had the concrete in by 2 today, 8 ton of ballast done in the mixer, a ridiculous footing for a prefab single story building, anyway it’s in now, it took 12 hours and I’ve billed him for 20 which he’s fine with so I’m having Friday off 6 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Stavross 16,018 Posted October 19, 2023 Report Share Posted October 19, 2023 Back today to sort out where we are picking the drains up and where the services are going and a bit of labouring just to help the so called bricky along, I say so called because the block work is a mess, I’ve never seen anyone set out by eye before ( lol ) and he just didn’t grasp that it had to be level because the top of the block is the top of the concrete ( that I’ll be putting in) Had a lad giving us a hand today, a student from Nigeria, lovely lad, very polite, but my god, thick as sh*t, it just shows what you get for 40 quid a day Quote Link to post Share on other sites
