I sometimes take him up to my shoot when I’m feeding birds, he’s found a few old coins and military buttons No mate not in a club. I know few farmers so just mooch around doing it myself. I like it that way, I know a chap that runs a club and they travel to Somerset from Devon. I'm happy some land I can go on is only about Half a mile from home. Only been doing it about 18 months and just upgraded to a equinox 800 from a Vanquish 540 which is a excellent machine for a first detector. Had these two last week and found a £200 toolbox for a farmer that they managed to plough in. More brownie points. Cheers Arry

Cheers Arry That top one is a cracker, every Christmas I get my mate a different finds identification book, he found a WW1 revolver a couple of months ago when he was out with the group so had to hand it in, he’s got other things that he’s kept that he’s found when out on his own

Given up the guns now but still fish, ferret, forage fungi along with gardening. Cheers Arry
