My mums dad died when she was 14 so never knew him. Never said much about him up until the last 5-6 years and I think he was abit of a rouge he was mentioned in a couple chapters in a book his old vet wrote of how they met and just before he died. Scaffold goes up comes down goes up on the next one mental. Another fairly new site just about a mile away finished a year ago none stop work. The gable fell off one house ffs no wall ties. Cheers Arry They have had 3 different lots of lads on the brickwork in the last 2 yrs...f****d them all off..they've only built 7 houses in that timewe been there since September and have built 3 traditional 2 timber frame,block and render outside..with no problems whatsoever they will be moving in next friday...we got 4 groundworkers,2 brickies,my labourer and myself doing 1st fix,floors,roof trusses ,3nd fix finishing,roofing etc..there's another gang of mongo cider drinkers that do as little as possible.. wouldn't pay them in chocolate buttons 1 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I don't remember having troubles like they seem to get these days but every thing was signed off then.
