Doing well on the rabbits this season, does it fill the freezer much? Or do you break even after you’ve kept them fed all year?

If you have ground with plenty of rabbits you will fill the freezer enough to keep bird and ferrets fed in the off season.

A quick look out and and nutrunner bites the dust after some cracking flights.

A nice couple hours out making the most of the weather. A brace of nutrunners in the bag!

Another one in the bag this morning. Some good flights, then pulled this one out of a drey! A small bite off this one but nothing to worry about.

Yes, to be honest there aren't many rabbits about locally without travelling. There's lots of squirrels about so that's the easiest option at the minute.

For some reason I’m finding them on much higher ground this season. Maybe all the rain.

Yes that could be right although there just aren't any around locally to me. I have some half decent ground but have to travel, and even the numbers there aren't what they used to be!

Seems to be the story in most places. There’s a few places that holds a few and some decent bushing areas. Been finding some way up on the Tors

Another brace today. Difficult ferreting conditions as a lot of the burys were in thick gorse.

Out yesterday a single kill but an excellent flight!
