moxy 617 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Hello buddy, start with removing all the crap off of your os that you dont need or havent used since you bought your pc. Dont store too much stuff on your desktop, put it away in appropriate files. Then run disk defragment which will be found in your local disk drive tool/options, let it do its stuff which could take sometime, when that done id try disk clean up which should be found in the same options menu . T78 4 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 google Ccleaner and revo uninstaller. simple to use programs that find all the crap on your hard drive and give you option to delete. i run both once a wk and delete eveything they find!never had any problems yet. also google and run NTREGOPT . kurgan 5 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Go to START ,RUN then type in MSCONFIG go to start up unclick everything this should speed it up a lot as your pc wont have to get theses programes up and runing ,if you have any problems just click them all back on and use trial and error till you can get rid of most of them ,other than that more ram is the cheapest and easyest way to go.
