I got mine from johnsons field sports, not cheap mind £30 for 10 I think.

I make and sell nets polyesta nylon 4 foot long all colours £2.50 each plus postage or you are welcome to come along and have a look I have been knitting nets for 45 years in all sorts of different twines and I have found polyesta to be the best i find hemp rots too quick

surly if you dry it out and take proper care of it it wont rot too quick?

Im getting them sorted now with Mole Catcher!!

 

I went for a walk yesterday to the warrens i did to see if i could find the four spuns i had but found one So some one else must of had them.

 

Im always forgetting to count houw many nets im putting out and count them when im packing back,, Ive been to warrens several weeks after ive ferreted them and still found the odd here and there as it was placed

Whatever about the cost of the nets, but if a cow or a horse gets tangled in a net that you haven't picked up, you'll have more to worry about than a £3 net.

Get into the habit of counting em out o your bag in groups of 10.Set those before taking another 10 out.Any unset nets go in your pocket .. Don't put any nets back in the bag until you've counted em into bundles of 10.(Don't know if I explained that very well but it's the system I use on big burrows.)Or work out a similar system and stick at it until it becomes habit.A mate used to put elastic bands round his nets.As he set a net he put the band round his wrist.In theory he only had to count the bands to know how many nets he had down.Trouble was bands caught on thorn bushes and broke or were otherwise lost.Also if the bands were too tight his hand would go blue!
