well there we go unless anyones getting dogs to go on long distance runs pulling a sled they mostly use carbs also find out how much oxygen it takes to burn fats to carbs and also you did mentions carbs once befor i brought it up so i bet know after you've done alittel reserch you've proberly relived that fats are only overly imporant to endurence exersizes which are a over a long time at a slow pase while running dogs just do semi frequent high intensity runs hense carborhydrates are the optimuim energy source

im expecting that apolgy now after you just proved me right

you are obviously retarted and dont actually own a working lurcher ... a dog doesnt have to be pulling a sled to be carrying out endurance work ... a dog that is having between 30 and 50 runs a night on the lamp is certainly in the bracket for endurance work if you believe otherwise then give up dogs and keep cats .............

you feed a running dog food before it go`s out your wasteing your time even going out or trying to catch any thing..the dog will run far better and i mean far better on a empty gut .feed on the way home or wait till your home before any type of food goes into to the dog ..a dog over weight will run poor as well and dont let it drink to much on the night if it needs to drink loads of water the dogs unfit .

rob i wasnt talking about giving the dog a full meal ... i am saying to give the dog a fatty meal of about 1/4 of what he normally has 5 hours prior to lamping ... this meal will be fully digested by the time you go out and the fat converted to energy waiting to be used as the dog depletes his energy source over the course of a hard nights lamping ...........
