I ordered my filter from the artur carter website and recived it yesterday and i was just wondering when the filter is been used and it gets to be a long run is the filter then taking off would just like a few people to tell me how they use there filter Quote Link to post
ferreter216 0 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 alrite mate im new to lamping but went with mate two or so years ago with greyounds and the filter was used to see their eyes, because if you look into the field and think you see a rabbit then shine without filter and its not a rabbit you will spook the rest of the rabbits because its bright without filter whereas if you shine with red filter and spot their eyes you will know its a rabbit then take filter off and slip dog thinks thats the purpose hope this helps Quote Link to post

I ordered my filter from the artur carter website and recived it yesterday and i was just wondering when the filter is been used and it gets to be a long run is the filter then taking off would just like a few people to tell me how they use there filter hello mate the red fillter is used to find your rabbits in the field. not being as bright as the white beam you will not scare the rest off the field in while looking for them . use the red fillter to find um get as close as you can then switch to the white beam when your rabbit makes off the closer you can get to the rabbit the better chance your dog will have hope this helps ya happy lamping Quote Link to post
