Forgetting basic shit like that is simply par for the course. But, that meant I'd gone out there, to attend a trap in view of it. Inadvertently filming myself, completely oblivious to what was happening. I've just watched the clips. Foxes, obviously. A certain arch enemy. Shit tons of birds. Then, this shambling fukking wreck. This scruffy old kunt comes rolling into view. The gait of a cartoon, past it, pirate. Stares at a trap full of corvids, as if wondering where the hell they came from. Then, slowly, painfully slowly, lowers himself and starts pathetically reaching in for them. God. It's fukking pitiful to watch. As I clearly remember it? I saw I had a cage full. Went out there. Had a look. Well happy! Sorted them. Reset. Came back in But, the camera doesn't fukking lie That shambling fukking carcass moved in slow motion. It was like watching Joe Biden trying to tie his shoes. Visible pauses, as one, simple, thought process followed another. " Why am I here? ... Oh, yeah. What do I do now? ... Oh, that's right.
