There is only one way to see if a n/v scope is any good and that is look through it yourself. If you send for one and it is crap you will be able to return it under the distance selling regulations. I wouldn't go off a video, the actual image may be completely different. The only certainty with any optics is you get what you pay for.

Straight away looking at it, it isn't 24x optical assuming they keep within 24x max for the video. Those last few zoom increments are clearly digital zoom which is why the picture becomes pixelated and noisy.

The daytime performance looks flat although it could have just been the lighting conditions and the way a scope limits light gathering compared to other optics.

As Ian says, the best way is to see it for yourself. Personally I often find professionally produced video is far better than I can achieve.

By which i mean, constantly having to adjust the focus and/or the amount of i/r it can cope with. Such n/v scopes are more of a hindrance than useful. You really ought to consider the option i messaged you about, yes,yes i know they are expensive, BUT you are only here once, make the most of it.

Yeah I know mate, especially since it would purely be night scope, I am sorely tempted by your offer!
