South hams hunter 8,922
Nice morning so decided to do a few hours digging this morning for my mate while he was sandeeling. I dug for 2 hours ( hour either side of low) and comfortably managed 6.5lb and spent the morning in beautiful surroundings. As you can see a nice straight line is the key 13 Quote Link to post

Kings are slow imo. Alot of the marks we fish we have to use a rope and there's a few with ladders in place. I'm not a fan of heights but you get use to it. Quote Link to post

toolebox 1,546
Our southern coast is much this this ,and we have lost a number of fishermen from the ledges ,once two guys were climbing down a heavy duty rope which had become rotten over time ,it broke & both guys dropped straight down bouncing off the rocks to disappear into the sea never to be seen again .On the southern tip of southland the seas roll up from the roaring 40s big ,bad and very cold ,still we climb down cliffs to fish means the area wont get much fish pressure ,we just do so when conditions allow this to be done safety. Same reason we fish these places, no one else does. Quote Link to post
