Regards Philips professional gun blue but it all comes down to the prep before you even start the blueing do as it says on the bottle and you should be ok i degrease every thing first then use rust remover then degrease again put gloves on when doing it and change them when you start the bluing as the natual grease off your hands will contaminate the metal work you are going to blue do not get dis heartend if it looks like its not going to take just keep at it and it will take all of a sudden it will start to change leave it for an hour once you have done it and it will start to go darker hope this helps atvbjimmy Quote Link to post
