I had been to India and Nepal a few times, always wanted to visit the himalaya in every country they touched,Bhutan was the last and certainly the most interesting, how I imagine Nepal was 60-70 years ago, like stepping back in time.

I got a new truck.I wanted a way to transport my shark fishing gear to florida and be able to get a few hours sleep in the back.I looked at a bunch of different  options.Nothing fit my need so I decided to Redneck Engineer something.I bought a set of scaffolds.Screenshot_20230907-182013_Gallery.jpg.11d8734b4ca0c48d1d00eff78ec1ee45.jpg

Me and my buddy built some bed pads from layers of foam and bubble wrap for HVAC.

We loaded the truck yesterday for Florida. Its ugly as hell but I think it will work.Screenshot_20230907-182112_Gallery.jpg.9d81a522f066c4f236a57020296750bb.jpg

Cargo carrier for coolers and bait bags which are proned to leak blood.

Rods strapped up.Screenshot_20230907-182359_Gallery.jpg.6765cd102ee1b090fc935f59d53ece48.jpg

The bed of the truck will be where I sleep. My buddy will sleep on the scaffold.

This can be disassembled by one man without tools.

The scaffolds survived their maiden voyage of 600 miles to a favorite fishing spot of mine.Everything was well organized  and we could change locations at the drop of a hat.I was very happy but it did get some strange looks lol.

I'm usually on the northwest corner.Along an area known as the emerald  coast.Only landed those two.I hooked into a monster tiger shark. He was too big for my fishing setup really. He eventually broke off on a reef as he could swim wherever he wanted with me attached lol. When I kayaked the next bait out I was nervous as I think he was big enough to eat my 12 ft kayak lol.The big one always gets away. This time I think I was glad it did.

Hi guys , bit of a long shot , but I’m due to imminently move to the plains of my people and have heard rumours of a firemonger of weapons ??
He is said to be a purveyor of the uks finest steel tomohawks and one of the last true dwarf weapon masters
if anyone can point me in the right direction , I’d be greatly pleased

I want to purchase a pair of boots for the colder weather, I do a lot of walking, and some trekking about the hillsides and trails. I do not want "winter boots" but rather boots that would be suitable for a cold day, but would work with layers of socks rather than thick heavy boots. Several people have told me Meindl is an excellent brand, and that is great, but what kind ? Hiking ? Walking ? Do they make them that they would serve the purpose mentioned above ? Any specifics to look for in a boot for this purpose ?
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn

Sorry gentlemen to bother you, but I have come to my wits end. My neighbour across the way lets her dog roam as it please when it comes to shitting and urination, she is too lazy to actually take the dog out herself. He seems to have taken to my property and a certain area just under my bedroom window. I do not want to hurt the dog for the sake of her ignorance, but I do very much need to stop him from doing it any longer. The grass and  the shrubs are dying and turning brown and the flowers are just rank with smell that floats up through my bedroom window.
He is a VERY OVERWEIGHT beagle and leaves behind some damn good deposits.
I am wondering short of doing something stupid, what can I do to deter the dog from that area or any patches of garden I have? I plan to go to the council about the problem, and lay some of it on the town manager who is an acquaintance of mine, but in the meantime, any tricks out there to make my flowers and bushes unsavoury.
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn
