I have always favoured a rough coat believing it more weatherproof. then a chap pointed out a good thick smooth coat is better. he didn't mean like a whippet he said like the smooth collie coat. I think he had a point. My pup has it she’s few generations of Beddy whippet and has a smooth coat but it’s not totally short and thick skin Quote Link to post
