huckelberry 114
like said before it is not always a numbers game for me also today it was just one rat that we caught. but it was in the ceiling of someones daughter. so they where more happy than a farmer where you catch 50 rats. Devon Minnow 152
Personal I think you will struggle finding a small enough terrier to fit under a pallet. The only thing would be to cross a working miniature Jack Russell with a tea pot Yorkie or maybe a miniature Dachshund if you can find a working strain in this country. Here some pictures of my dogs on left is miniature black/tan Jack Russell in middle is a 9 month old 3/4 Teckel x Patterdale and on right pure Teckel. I know the pup still has a little maturing to do but is a good 2”-3” lower than the Jack, and mostly get under a pallet. If all else fails get a stick and poke them out. 4 Quote Link to post

The Russell has a loverly size and hellish double coat on him but zero prey drive. Where the Teckel have fantastic noses will go through any under growth and would go to ground if I went down that road. Yes slower than a terrier but far better for walking up with a .410 and unbelievable stamina 4 Quote Link to post
