Interestingly you’ve also gone out with a hell of a lot of lads and seen a hell of a lot of dogs. And none of them were as good as yours. I can only assume you go out with a lot of lads and don’t get invited back for a second time very much I’ve gone out with a small handful of lads who funnily enough I still go out with now, have good sport with, don’t match and don’t slag their dogs off and tell them mine are better and I’m a better hunter.

Brilliant I’ve got a scabby black ferreting dog here that I will put up against your saluki type anywhere in the country at any time for any money. 
 

So let’s say we carry out the following disciplines. 
 

ferreting 
flushing hares 

tracking deer

tracking fox

hunting up and catching their own quarry in all types of cover 

working to the gun

working feathered game including off water 

lamping 

we will do this one after another on consecutive days and all disciplines must be done with the dog off the lead and under total control.
