Guest little_lloyd Posted January 15, 2008 Report Share Posted January 15, 2008 Took my nine moth old 1/4 whippet , 1/4 Grey, 8th bedlinton 8th saluki, 8th bull.grey , 8 collie down the the field infornt of the house for a bit of ferreting and to givev him a run,, We started of on a nice warren in the hedge and that prouced a rabbit that ran down the ditch with bramble in hot pursuit and they through the hedge and now running the other side,, i thought he was never going to have this one but he caught up with it and naild it as it was near another hole First bunny,, To many more As the moring got under way 2 more bolted from unetted holes,, straight into a gorse and bramble patch Then i moved to a small 2 holer thar i new would produce a rabbit,, ferret entered bump bump straight into the next brambles was at hand to stop it from kicking its way out. Nice little morning i was not expecting a big bag after the floodings but i cant wait to get out with the pup more often as he gets older. Quote Link to post

Hes been out once since that back in september it was shite rainy and windy,, The only action he sor then was a dig and a dead rabbit,, wanted to f**k about then too, Today he just wanted to get stuck in,, one rabbit bolted into a ditch fuill of water and swam to the other side he doesnt normaly like water but was in there then like a rocket.
