People are getting carried away here.

Nobody is trying to claim that a bedlington is as game as a patterdale or anything.

We are talking about their uses as a cross, why on earth would you need to use a hard mute digging dog to put over a whippet for a bit of rabbiting in and around cover.

Now like I said I'm not knocking the cross but is it really needed when there's tried and tested dogs already doing the business.
