Fair play if it can. I wouldn't want to try stopping him. The attitude on them in the rut is unreal, they aren't keen to run and would much sooner turn round and smash whatever is bothering them

I remember my mate over Cumbria saying he had 3 good bullxs on a red stag and he said these dogs knew there job on them. They had a strong hold and he said the stag was like a steam train across 2 fields, and could here it snorting as it was going the dogs ended up falling off as they were tired and couldn’t hold on no more.He said it deserved to get away the show it put on.

Back in the day a mate of mine had a pure whippet dog could kill hares in regular basis not saying fen but around the small types of fields he was  a handy little dog

Locally, we all had whippets,...and we all managed to kill a few hares...

 Good old times...?

Actually,..when you look at the jukels all around our beautiful Island,...the Whippet influence has been phenomenal...The inclusion of these diminutive speedsters within many lurcher types really does make for an attractive and exceptionally useful, rabbiting helper.... ?

Bet the cow wouldn’t clear a fence like a red ??

Was just being a tad jocular, with my above 'quip' mate lol.  ?

Sort of like, 'yeah, but if the ground had been slop, his dog would've caught it even easier'.  Lol  ?
