You got open land Scotland say and a strong dog it could be done mate i think dog can out run one mate ?

Never ran one in Scotland, why travel all the way up there when you can find them a hour away. ?

I've heard the Highland stags are poor specimens and nothing like the woodland deer in England.

This stag that the dogs didn't put a turn in was like a hoss, made 30 inch bull/deerhound/greyhounds look like Jack Russell's.

I said Scotland mate because its vast and I think it takes a good few mile of persistent knacking to back legs to stop one make it bleed out mate or disable it ?

What do you think will have happened to the dog by then, it will be broken after being dragged all over and  trampled half to death. ?

I Seen a red stag in south England and it dwarfed the fallow bucks it was next too , there’s no dog twating that single handed

Not quick mate I agree but over 4 mile picking at it as its tiring I wouldn't bet it couldn't be done
