I know what you mean that’s why I cut it right back so there is nothing that needs to knit back together on the inside which could split again, it’s just the skin that needs to regrow, should be ok I think

Doing OK mate..took her out last night for 3hrs the stubble fields are like a bloody lake. Off down some pastures fields later hopefully be a bit firmer under foot for the dogs..

Tbh I enjoy watching the videos of them run, but how people can call them good or bad dogs on the internet is beyond me, a 5 minute video of 1 hare chase counts for nothing imo. Granted people who around them and watching them on the regular will know. But honestly no idea, names are thrown around but they are lost on me. My opinion is my young pup could well be capable of matching these dogs but that is highly unlikely and very likely me being a dreamer with wishful thinking! My opinion also counts for nothing so is pointless anyway, however I do like to get involved

Here’s a question for you. Where will coursing be in 20 years time and will we have any new legends. Or are legends not made anymore since the ban.

A don’t think be coursing in 5yrs time and here’s ? What is a legend as everyone s opinion different a never seen Foxy Dancer Blondie Lucky run in flesh but have been told off men a respect and trust that they were legend s and seen footage.But this day and age everyone got legend and bred off legend s and breed legend s.

I suppose what I mean is, there is an old saying,  if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound.......

Most of the legends in coursing come from an age where you could promote that dog publicly. We live in different times and nation wide acclaim is harder to get now without bringing a lot of grief to your door.

Couldn't tell you mate, maybe but couldn't tell you who or how far back, I brought the dog because saw what sire and dam had done and tbf the lad I had her off as helped me out countless times with her

I've read a lot of the threads on here, commented on a few and asked a few questions, and I've also tried several times to follow the coursing lines as I enjoy watching dogs work, so a bit of background is always good, kill or no kill im not bothered I just like to watch dogs that give it their all. The lines confuse me but the same names appear a lot of the time. I know zero people in this game and it currently just a learning curve. This is why my opinion matters zero, ive never seen any coursing with my own eyes just watched videos and read books/articles and of.course what is said on here.
