IMG_20210124_173622.jpg.c134c451299cb74ecb49b193bbc599d1.jpgIsn't it just common sense that different dogs with different breeding mature at different rates ?

I've had an 8 month wheaten cross bump into a fox on an evening empty and it fecking mullered it but I'd be very surprised if one of the Galgos did the same, more likely play with it.

As to exercising away from game, I remember exercising one of my racing greys in a good safe hare free field..... two hares later carrying it home with rhabo to follow.

Get them out sensibly young and look to be a bit careful but expect the unexpected and deal with the outcomes. If they're written off by the odd mishap then they're likely not gonna stand the stresses of a long career in the field.

The main thing with youngsters is feed and exercise to ensure you optimise the genetics to prepare them for the future.
