The way I look at it their wouldn't be these legendary hare killing dogs if it weren't for the saluki and vice versa as these legendary dogs without other breeds would have never evolved just my opinion.

Born in 1916. Presented to General Lance by a Syrian Sheikh as a token of friendship. He was reputed a very fast and clever coursing dog. Mated with Baalbek for 2 litters. Remained in Damascus.
