My old saluki x grey well old coursing dog did similar eat everything large it  caught alive or half eat even used to fck off way foxes although had a massive prey drive met its maker when it picked way wrong dog though big powerful dog about 80lb seen another few eat a few hares but the killed others after that funny old dogs very feral ?

Not happening, I've seen powerful dogs trying to hang on and getting thrown all over the shop. 

I've also seen capable deer dogs get left behind by a red stag, the thing was jumping ditches like nothing, seeing one at full pelt was very eye opening.

You got open land Scotland say and a strong dog it could be done mate i think dog can out run one mate ?
