depends which course you mean....some dogs she was so far ahead it was embarrassing....

but splodge was good....she was only half a length in front....bent the hare 180 degrees....the left him behind and straight lined that hare

?half a length in run up now without the whippet and deerhound influence you think the same would happen mate ?

?I know the are mate a coursing bred roughly 3/4 saluki get to a hare off huge slip mate you get 3/4 grey and they won't bend a strong hare straight line time mate off 100 yd slip

Were not running hard compact sand mate ?

You think say a 3/4 grey a quarter bull would lead a strong coursing bred at any point it won't mate I promise you?

Old on a minute, hares don't start running until the dog is on them remember. ?

That's nothing to do with speed, a greyhound will spend it's energy much faster, once it does that it's game over.

Just watch highlights of the Waterloo cup, no saluki in existence has closed up to any hare like the greyhounds do.

You've already told me she was very  fast mate with excellent mouth ?

And must a been mate but a slow fen dog is only half a length off so they can't be slow can they lol??

You beat a Foley winner mate I'd be buzzing lol was it 3 races each dog mate

I recorded the last Waterloo Cup, including when that Saluki was slipped on a spent hare.......I don't think it impressed many of the 10,000 people there.

No, I'm not saying that was your average Saluki, but it looked very below average !

Cheers.

Lol ? you get a greyhound mate and see how many times that happens see it one in mouth left one running away even dog wasn't letting that go lol

I was showcasing their speed, no saluki has close to the speed of a greyhound.

it was a 16 dog stake....meaning the two finalists run 4 hares....the first year when she won....2003 she killed the first 3 hares...the final was against max of here...his dog buster (coursing bred)....neither dog killed the hare but my bitch got the nod of the judge...so she won...

the second year same format....16 dog....she killed two hares to get to the final....one of which against splodge ...the final hare neither dog killed and it was a poor final run to be honest....but the other dog got the nod
