Managed to bag this vixen tonight at last. It’s been a long job. Had her mate three weeks ago, her nippers last week, (only two) and missed her on the same night. Spotted her lying down on the hillside as I drove up to my parking area and she legged it on seeing me. After waiting out elsewhere thinking she’d head there, on near dark I went back to where I’d seen her earlier and there she was, mousing. Sticks up and down she went with the Hornet. Got another litter nearer the farm to deal with next week
