shaaark 10,694
@socks, tell you what else I find making a difference to my health, full fat natural yogurt. Been eating it regularly 3 or 4 times a week, for months now. The mrs had gestational diabetes when she was carrying our latest addition to the family. So she had to follow some pretty strict nutrition guidelines, and with her being dyslexic, I set about reading up on both our nutritionional needs, something I haven't done too much of for quite a few years. The stuff is great for you. Like I said earlier, just another suggestion.
Greb147 6,809
I can't say I've ever noticed a difference when I've taken supplements. If anything they had a negative effect on me, I'm sure it was the high dosage of vitamin D3 that was giving me bad leg pains.

I never suffer with colds, flu or any other common ailments. Your body is genetically programmed to take the vitamins and minerals it needs, through eating, digesting and processing good food, far more efficienly than tablets. Trepidatiously awaiting for sandymere or born hunter now, to shoot me down in flames, with three pages of nutritional mumbo jumbo they've pasted and copied now!! . Anyway, just a suggestion socks. Oh yeah, and plenty of good quality sleep, without it you could eat the best diet in the world, and still feel shitty. Same as that mate, but would just add it must be real honey from a proper bee keeper not that Rowse shit you get in supermarkets as it’s mostly made from sugar and not by bees,I do a big jar a week, there are also many hedgerow things that will do you much more good than vitamins, have a look at the health benefits in rose hips as just one example, I make jam and syrup from them drink the syrup same as squash just mix with water, nature knows best we are just loosing touch with it and expecting instant results in a packet for everything p,s shingles are just what you get when you have been in contact with someone that has chicken pox, you catch chicken pox once and if you get it again it’s shingles so probably just coincidence rather than a sign you need more vitamins Edited June 3, 2021 by Greyman
cragman 2,763
I take feck all, I just eat what I think is good for me, porridge with fruit on in the morning, two sarnies and four fruits at dinner, salad at night normally and maybe a piece of toast later. At my works medical in January I was told I’d put a stone on in a year. I’ve soon lost that, in fact I’ve lost a stone and a half and feel much better for it. I’m quite active during the day, walking miles rather than driving
