the hw77 is the better gun but will probably be more expensive and i think its allso the heaviest, but thes supersport would be ok just to start you out with. the one peice mount could allso be usefull if you choose to put a scope on but it depends on prices and condition of the rifles. the HW is about £254 new were as the supersport only £139. you get what you pay for though.

I DISAGRRE WITH MOST YOUR OPINIONS GUYS,IVE OWNED THE HW77 AND THE BSA SUPERSTAR,THE HW77 IS A GREAT GUN BUT WEIGHS IN AT A WHOPPING 11 LBS,the superstar is only about 8lbs its a great gun to use as well simple easy to cock and load the hw77 is a bugger when u got cold hands too u drop loads of pellets tryin to load it,the superstars a tad cheaper i think u can get a gas ram for it where u cant for a hw77,and you can get a quality silencer for it where the 77 silencer is shit, dont get me wrong the 77 is a good gun ive owned one,but being built like a brick shithouse is a must cos its so heavy, the superstar is a craking summer gun ideal for squirrels and rabbits, hope this helps guys, problem is u didnt say how old u was,so dont really know if the weight applys, just the same tho it would be the superstar for me.... :good:
