Funny. It's got me thinking ~ literally as I sit here; Let pet coloured bun's go? You end up with pet coloured bun's amongst the local wild population. Fair enough.

See mostly tabby ferals.

The same coloured rabbits crop up all over, islands, moors. It's in them

When it comes to cats. Their shear ability to catch and kill things, makes colour a none factor. If a white cat can kill as much stuff, as a black one, then a dominant colour doesn't come through. Well not on a big scale. Locally, yes, black may be the common colour in your gaf, but not necessarily in mine.
