MTC VIPER

WHEN I BOUGHT MY CZ 452 I CHOOSE AN MTC VIPER SCOPE.4/12 /44 AND IV GOT TO SAY ITS BRILLIANT.ONE OF THE BEST ALL ROUND SCOPES IV USED FOR THE MONEY...I BOUGHT A CZ 17HMR AND BECAUSE I WAS SO HAPPY WITH MY MTC I THOUGHT ID GO FOR THE BIGGER 8/32 /56 SCOPE WELL IV FITTED IT AND ITS THE WORST SCOPE IV EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF USING....THE CROSS HAIR IS FUZZY ANYTHING OVER 22 MAG.IT ISNT CRISP AND THE LIGHT GATHERING IS RUBBISH....

IM VERY DISAPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST..GOIN TO EMAIL THE IMPORTER AND SEE IF I CAN GET IT CHANGED..HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD ANY EXPERIANCE WITH????

ihave the 6-24x56 viper and had no bother, did you focus it on the highest mag,also having it that high it will magnify all the movement all that much more

did u say that the 17 hmr scope had a 8 to 32 times soom

and if so r u using it on a high soom because it wont gather as much light

i use a hawke 3-9 zoom 46 and i know its a cheaper end scope but its quite good for rabbits up to 150-200 yards

i use it on 22 mag at the most..cant use it any higher its crap even in the day......i have just spoke to the mtc people at 6.45pm on a friday.they were unbelievibly helpful to the point im embarrassed to say the scope was crap.(which it is). it could be a bad scope and they will be happy to sort it out.im fast enough to say that the scope i have isnt good but there customer service is brilliant best iv found in any business bar none.....

iv given up mate...use the rifle nearly every day...cant be doing without a scope on the 17.....its a shame.....guess i bought the wrong scope for the rifle..has knocked my confidance in the rifle.if i miss i wonder if its me or the scope....should of stuck to schmidt really

i have a bushnell on mine 6x24x50 elite. very good scope and so clear. you can pick them up for £300 over here on different shooting sites. they are £600 if you can find them in the shops here so half price really for a top piece of glass.

MTC have a good reputation. I have a faulty Viper and they will collect it and replace FOC, even though I didn't even buy it from them. It's very good service, definitely worth a call.

i totally agree mtc as a company are brilliant but the 8-32x56 is crap.i hate it. ..iv took it off and put a 3-12x50 schmidt scope on the hmr...i use a 3-12x44 on my 22lr and i think its great..going to put the viper on ebay get what i can for it and put it down to experiance...

Ok, the issues you describe seem like it might be faulty, that's all. But I bet you like the Schmidt

i love the schmidt but there four times the price..im gutted with the mtc....its a shame....will say mtc customer relations is second to none and i think the 4x12-44 viper is brilliant......
