tail docking

just welped my second litter of paterdales and with the first lot had a problem getting the docked. a vet who would not give his name through the dock breed sociaty want to rip me of of £250 half what i sold the litter for. i was told to get it done my self witha razor but declined. father of litter i own is not docked and dosnt really look daft should tail lenghth matter to work ability

IMHO a full tail is prefferable to a tail docked stupidly short,but a tail docked to the correct lengh is definatly best.If the tail is naturaly short a 3rd might be to much if the tail is naturaly long perhaps it wouldnt be enough.If your not confident to do it yourself get an experianced trusted [bANNED TEXT] to do it.

:( to late now all eyes are open and they are begining to scrabble. got another bitch my have here put to next year with some nutall stock my uncle is using might dock that litter and see 1/3 off seems to be the agreed length
