Long story short, refurbishment works going in the premises that my employer has occupied for many years and some stuff has been rediscovered. Small safes sold right away but nobody really needs them these days. Id guess ones like that picture Syd put up are as much decorative as anything. Used to be a place over Basildon called ACD safes and he had around a thousand at any one time, used to sell him all the big stuff and vault doors and stuff like that because he was kitted up to move them.
