eastcoast 4,115
I do enjoy watching Combat Dealers. I get distracted sometimes though when Bruce can be showing a Russian "oligarch" or Hollywood "property master" a bit of iconic and mega costly bit of WWII kit and 1 of his Parson Russells gets in shot. Start thinking, does he graft them? Edited August 27, 2023 by eastcoast

A fella i know was at a speed awareness day and one of the twins was there as well for speeding and the twin spent most of the time there arguing that speed limits should be higher as cars had shit breaks etc when the speed limits were first set out and cars can handle going faster and stopping faster than back then, lol.. eastcoast 4,115
My last speed awareness course to avoid 3 points was after being clocked doing eighty mph on A1M at 04:40 after leaving home early and wanting to be on site 1st thing down the country. OK, I was exceeding the speed limit even though the traffic was very light. The accepted way of driving on motorways now during the day seems to be everyone driving bumper to bumper. Should they not be penalising that?

If I'm in my car or work van alone I properly stab the brakes on those twats - I'll happily go from 90 to 20mph if someone is being a knob
eastcoast 4,115
Doing the final clearance of my parent's house and came across this. I do remember it from years ago and always assumed it had been thrown out or given away but has been in loft all these years. Came from grandparent's house originally but I did have a great uncle who owned or managed a pub in Carlisle and it may have been his. Looks like the kind of thing that you would see in pub.
eastcoast 4,115
Some other things found. My records. Some really self indulgent naval gazing going on here but I make no apologies, it's only the internet. Bought the Stranglers album when at art college, people at home thought going to art college was an odd thing to do. People at art college found me odd but loved the Stranglers and thought the album cover was macarbre or at best an ironic statement with the stuffed animals. I loved the Stranglers music but never understood why anyone would have a a mounted animal in their house unless it was something that you had dug yourself.
