Not much of a sneak mate...he took out 3 tents and ended up in the pond on his 100 yard stagger to bed!! Lol

As far as cold storage goes a decent coolbox with a frozen water bottle in it, it will give you a fridge anywhere for 5 days. I use a Coleman xtreme, took it on a 5 day river wye canoe trip in the bla

Felt fresh to be honest , a lot less bloated with no starchy potatoes and pasta to fill your plate with   , use salad a lot more which has been good to mix the meat up with .    we have adapted

How did you feel when you first started the diet with next to no carbs?

Do you track your calories, how much less are you doing?

we have adapted it by marinading the chicken or using a sauce on the steak .

typical days eating is :

100g quark breakfast with some pineapple or kiwi  and Tuesdays and Thursday i train at 0800 , Either a 5k or a circuit

I train or mobility at dinnertime  so I have a handful of nuts at 1030 with a bannana

After I train , I’ll have a shake , currently using usn vanilla diet whey with two boiled eggs

About 3pm I’ll be at some fruit or 100g quark.

she trains Tuesday , Thursday Friday and Sunday . So she’ll have a some nuts or a fruit before the gym . Then we Jen she’s gone we sit down and eat either chicken breast or steak with some salad and I’ll have a shake before bed .

we’ve hugely increased our water intake , I’ve cut down in coffee , both find that we have more energy to deal with day to day stuff that you are normally like “I’ll do that tomorrow “

gonna maintain that for another month then I’ll ramp up by starting stripping harder at work . At minute I’m pushing steel to bulk up . One down side is that I’m definatley carrying an injury , Achilles tendinitis which is utterly infuriating as ten years ago I would have ran that off easily .

little things help , like a few home items , resistance bands etc . I’ve rubbed down the pull up bar again for her to do ab raises from . One of the simplest things she did was to put a pic of herself from ten years ago on the the fridge to give her a visual incentive .

over lockdown I tried to keep a hard good routine and it might not have panned out exactly how I wanted but it’s been pretty close . Definitely feel fresher and better for a change mate ?

Find some of this diet shit interesting. I eat a normal balanced diet including plenty of shit, snacks, beer etc.... oh and I smoke a bit. Still can physically out last most folk I know, and would consider myself pretty fit. They key I think is being very active in a wide range of ways. My biggest issue is my body has taken a physical beating over the years ?

Started about two years ago when I knocked up a tendon in my forearm doing front levers without any sense. That restricted me for about four months but I was able to train around it. Then gyms shut and the change in routine just cascaded! No squats led to minor back pain for the first time in my life and taking up running gave me quite severe and chronic IT band problems. Which have flared up again recently due to ramping up my training and activity generally. It’s absolutely f***ing torture.
