This is an old air-conditioning unit I turned into a bar....had 3 or 4 years now, gonna do more this summer.. its been great for us.. my lad and his mate are in here now... me and the Mrs ripping them.. lol

That recent one has a hot tub and seating made aswell, people couldnt get away on holiday so spend the money elsewhere

Question about these 'Back Yard Bars'?

How do they work out? Like; If I wash up at your place, for the evening. Do I just ingest your beer. Pointing periodically at the Jack Daniels optic? Then stagger out with a muttered, " Seeyer d'morra. "

  Or, is there a posted Bar Prices? Do you stay behind there, all night, serving us - or do we serve ourselves and you trust us to chuck the right money in the pot? What? Genuinely curious about all this.

I mean, I make my own beer. Rock up at my place any time. Reliable taxi ready to drag your shattered remains off home? We'll see who drinks who under the table. Completely on me, of course. Spirits included.

But, this whole 'Pub' thing? Dunno. Doesn't that adjust the whole dynamic somehow? Maybe it's the psychology: We pay for our drinks in a 'Bar' setting.

No money ever at mine mate...if your.a friend your welcome, drink and food are always provided if you bring a bottle then great...

Must be what people are missing in their lives at the min, a bit of normality. I dont know about paying or prices but if i drank any of my mates booze id always repay the gratitude and take a bottle or 2 the next time i went over. But in my own opinion its only a novelty until normal life returns.
