Just out of interest does anyone have ideas on any nice plants that I can plant near my ferret cages to help knock out the smell. The cagers are cleaned out on a weakly basis and the cagers are well ventilated but their is still a smell about. This is something I want to try and get well under control before I upset anyone close by. Any ideas would be great.

Your animals should be cleaned out daily not fukcing weekly no wonder they smell.

Cleaned out once a week,  no wonder theres a stink,    i only ever kept the two ferrets, and they were cleaned out daily.  husbandry

Ferrets will smell this time of the year anyhow specially were.u our with the hot weather over there try doing there Boxes every two days that will help a bite Depending how many ferrets our in the boxes I do my boxes every two days in the.summer But my ferrets our in different Boxes at the moment

Autumn over here mate so not coming into season until around October, November.

Just clean them out more, ferrets smell a bit even if clean so if neighbors whine tell them to fck off.

I could recommend some plants that will overpower the ferret smell but you could do time.
