I made my own a few years back, use it every summer to give the dog a stretch. Cost me €40 for the motor and that was it.

They'd be good to exercise if your dogs will go with it. When my dogs are past the pup stage and have done a bit they won't chase anything that doesn't have a heartbeat.

The bull cross ones are good and if you get a pup wed to the lure first before fur then a lot will always chase just for fun, especially in company.

I’ve had a look at making one I just don’t have the time to source parts and build to be honest. I would rather just pay someone and have it fetched to my door.I’ve just had an email of stallionsheffield they make them for around £260 I may have to pay that

That's not much for the amount of exercise and fun you and your dogs would get out of it.

Just grab an alternator from scrap yard £20 bit a rope and wood done mate
