Guest SJM Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) I have one of those old ex army karrimor rucksacks, its got padded straps and is dead comfy and the weight is evenly distributed across your back. Inside it Ive got a plastic drum with the top cut off, so you just neck the rabbit and toss it over your shoulder into the bag when your out lamping or walking and you dont have to break your stride I hate those rabbit carriers, they are uncomfy, make you look conspicuous if your somewhere your not meant to be, and you get blood all down your back which you wont get when you use the plastic drum inside the bag and because it just looks like a hillwalkers rucksack, it buys you a bit of time if you get stopped as its not immediately obvious what your up to if its during the day, if its at night your pretty much fecked though as the lamp gives it away lol Edited January 14, 2008 by SJM Quote Link to post

Nope, never had any bother, Ive got mine set so the straps are a tight fit, once its on your back its very snug. The only problem is sometimes if it gets full, and your bending over to pick another one up, the top one will drop out and land on the ground The plastic drum holds about 15 and by the time it gets to that weight you know its there A pic to illustrate what it looks like Quote Link to post

suluki 2 Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 i normaly use a rucksak but if that gets full use a stick. we found a bit of old blue water pipe the other night so we used that, just leg the rabbits and slide them over it! any way dotty just take will and make him carry them! hears the pic of the water pipe!!
