How's everyone getting on with the bass so far on lures or bait?

Will be out soon on my pals boat after the bass we live bait sand eels and have some good results atb longers01

Just waiting for it to warm up a tad as it's cold out on a boat just now,but we troll for our bass and have spent a fecking small fortune on some new lures so am chomping at the bit as they say..

Same here. Waiting to dust the kayaks off. Will give it a couple of weeks yet and then head out.

Was also reading up on some info with the bass. Everyone seems to know about not taking them when they are less than 42cm. They are also worried about people taking them when they are above the 60cm mark. Makes sense when you look at the info below.

I saw whole Bass for sale for £28.00 a lb on the coast here yesterday, your missing a trick there and find yourself a good fish merchant..

Whiting was 20ish a lb and we went through hundreds of them looking for a specimen. I'm not sure it's as easy as just rocking up like you would a bunny at a butcher

The ones that do door to door sales with a little van,there the ones to chat to and we have one round my way and i live 30 + miles from the sea..

Might have to have a look mate, we don't generally target em because they're not much use in the club comps

Seems to be a good season for bass so far. Better than normal for some reason
