Many a man that do foxes week in week out added whippet to there line. If you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense as to why you'd add it. Who wouldn't want a dog to take off faster and turn tighter on a fox..

not many on here that run that cross an there’s plenty on here that just claim foxing with Lurchers.bull greyhound x whippet I’m not saying they won’t!  what I’m saying is why would you put a proven specialist foxing bull greyhound to a whippet that’s not a fox dog that’s nothing more than a rabbiter or a goal keeper dog an expect a foxer that’s superior than you already got you’d breed back to a specialist foxer that’s doing what you want wouldn’t the advantages be higher of getting a dog doing what you want. I can see the advantages of adding whippet if your a ferreter an need a fast of the mark goal keeper Lurcher for Warren work but in foxing Lurchers I struggle to see adding straight whippet adds anything worth having can only see probably of it taking away from a specialist fox dog but who knows.
