A Rat in  a 55 Bodygrip  this is the Fourteenth  catch in this trap alone over the last 4 months, they are very good traps but i see no advantage in using this trap  instead of the 116 which to me feels easier to handle and ca also be used for Rabbits .IMG_20210404_102241.jpg.f15d2bb9b8852ea42b28c770ce11c13c.jpg

They come in useful for tight spots micky. Mightn't be as versatile in UK, because everything has to be covered by a tunnel.

Don’t you need a tunnel over there?

Personally, I always use one even though it is not written in law. It is recommended mind, so to cover myself I use them. I don't want to be in that position, where I have to convince a judge, that I haven't been careless, or broken any laws regarding wildlife.

Yeah, it's the fukking Heavy stuff I have here, mate. Bought a couple or so sheets of the shit to make my big dog a cage, for when the little dogs are in season.

Poor fukkers sat behind me in it as I type! I'm hoping and praying she'll break any time now. Think she peaked last night as he was screaming the place down.

But, yeah. I have some extremely useful looking lengths of off cuts laying out there, waiting for that eureka moment. This could well be it.

Where might I get those clips from, please?

Aye that’s it mate, I got couple aswell, they do they job an trap is nice an tight in there once you bend clips a little ?

Those spring stabilizers interest me more than the tunnels. Wonder where they can be got. Yes killer clips could be used, but those ones look a handy job.

You can hang the trap on the wires of the cubby if you cut across the width of the cubby in the middle and then curl the ends of the cut sections that run along the length of the cubby, if you can understand what I mean. I have also used the metal pallet strapping that they use on bricks/blocks and other heavy items to make clips

I know what you mean. That only really works well if you add a spring to the set up. I have a picture somewhere if this doesn't make sense. Was just wondering about those springs for an easy setup.
