It also gives you a bit more surface area to get smoke on , they came like that so a bit of a happy accident,  I'll be splitting mine in future I reckon 👍

Pork shoulder and lamb shoulder on smoker, a rosemary type rub on lamb and pork is paprika sugar job. went on about ten, hopefully have the lamb tonight pork tomorrow.

Change of plan , leg of lamb! ...she doesn't want a big dinner tomorrow coz we going out Sunday for lunch, we booked a table for 12 not thinking about the clocks going forward so we'll be eating Sunday lunch at 11 🤦‍♂️

Looks the bizz that mate! Do you use any particular charcoal?? I've mostly used aldi/ wilko bricketts in the past on the cheapo basic no frills bbq. Decent heat and burn time once they're fully ashed over. Found lump wood lights easier.. and you can cook on it sooner.. it gets hotter too but doesn't last as long as the bricketts. What's your preference pal?? Also apparently the cheap stuff is full of crap allegedly. Too late for me.. the damage is already done!! Lol..

Always lump wood mate , any lump wood , don't use briquettes., it'll last if you have control of air enjoy

Think I'm getting half dect at this smoking stuff. Will say though people sure do like  to try and make these sound more complicated then it is.

Gonna try and smoke some of these salt water catfish once we get in clean water, I can catch 20-40 of the damn things in a hour. Eveyone says theri inedible buuuuut people say that about anything that requires a lil work lol

Well I've left it a bit late again, had a run around trying to buy charcoal. Anyway got these on for later spatchcocked, one drowned in hot sauce by the wife and the other I've seasoned for kids..
