Popular Post Foxpack 2 7,849
Today I officially retired my dog Brian from the foxing World. First of all I would like to thank busher for gifting me this fantastic animal all them moons ago .for that I am forever grateful and he knows anything I breed he is welcome to one . Quick story on Brian. Brian started hunting at around 4 months old ,and seem to take to everything in his stride. Not really taking much training in anything he was shown .I initially never got him for earth work ,as we had other terriers for that job.but again he took to bolting Charlie's for fun .he bolted his first fox aged 11 months .,self entered and never looked back .at the end of his career ,he has bolted hundreds of Charlie's from up and down the country .and a lot of people have seen the little dog in action . I have also had him for rabbit control ,again excelled at his job .marking rabbits, bushing rabbits . Could woek with nets all day long without a bother . He will be missed in the foxing pack for this season .but age was catching him .and I didn't want to over tax such a good animal .so he will spend his retirement in wales ferreting with chrisbullx young lad .who I know will love and respect Brian like I did. Hopefully there is a pup out of this white bitch for me and if its half has good as Brian I,ll be made up . Hopefully chrisbullx can keep up with some write ups of Brian and his knew ferreting buddy .all the best 36 10 Quote Link to post
