For example 4/5 years ago there was a long period of bad weather that stopped the commercial boats fishing an area close to here and that year was almost record breaking for the amount of plaice that managed to reach within casting distance. Last year aswell, alot of local boats weren't fishing and we had a phenomenal year down here for alot of fishing. I'm shocked they didn't mention the wrasse they are shipping up there for them tbh There's a few places here local you can eat shellfish from and they farm it here but they're all small isolated estuary outlets.
