Kay 3,709
I think there long thin ferrets basically Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
is there a special technique to get theses ferrets or is just pot luck if u get one in a litter i was reading back on a forum and they said the test was make your thumb and index finger into a circle , and if the ferret could go thru that hole then it was a greyhound ferret Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Just an old term for small ferrets, mate. File it along with King Solomon Rats and Smithfield Collie Lurchers. Just something else people on fora like to disagree about, dispute, debate and get no where with Quote Link to post

kreet 0
i had a cinemon hob last year who was as long as the big hob i have at the moment but a thinner shape than both jills i have just now and his head was much more defined with a distinct change in shape from just behind his ears to his neck where i dont see any of these traits in my others or any of my others he had a very arched back and always stood up on his hind legs but he had a right go at 2 of my jills i tryd to line with im last year and killed one of them he was never a ferret i was comfy to handle got him at about 3 and couldnt put your hand in the hutch had to let him out then grab him in a way he couldnt bite he worked very well but used to gaurd the entry to holes when trying to pick him up gave me a few dull one's . after killing one of the jills i gave him to a boy who ses he still works well but he takes his work gloves so he dusnt have to f**k about at the hole's lol. Guest dotty
there just really small ferrets. i only use them because they don't kill down the hole so much. less digging. all the one i've had have had little man sindrome and a bit nutty. great little things. Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
so it doesnt take any special breeding to get these ferrets its just luck? Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
I have always considered a greyhound ferret more of a long thin ferret that a tiny ferret. Quote Link to post
Guest dotty
i'm sure you could get one by luck but it would probably be because its the runt. i just breed from the smallest hobs and jills. then over the years they got small at every litter. Quote Link to post
