I saw a black belt in Origami get challenged once.........he just folded !            I’ll get my coat..........

Fact of the matter is, most martial arts is all Kata......nothing ever happens in real time in realistic situations. Boxing you spar, it’s in real time. Even BJJ is more realistic than most

The reality is if you was about to have a straightener with someone and they pitched up with a Jackie Chan stance you'd blow a raspberry at them....them early Ufc's were about finding out what worked

It's a load of crap? balsa wood no doubt there's no way you can break a decent inch and a half piece of timber with your finger tips you'd struggle to break it stamping on it the size it was. Same with the baseball bat. One decent right handed and he'd be assuming the foetus position.

Watch many films, JD?

I was at a karate tournament with a Ryu the judges despised. Our boy, George, was on the mat. Non contact stuff.

Every time George scored, the filthy 'judge' simply awarded to the other guy! Completely blatantly! Till, in the end - as George explained to us later - George thought, " Fukk this! If it's gonna be like that? I'll show them who's getting through here! "

And he kicked the other guy, for real! Like he'd do on the street. In a real fight for his life. It was fukking Awesome! No films. No stunt men. George kicked that poor kunt in the stomach and Launched him!

I actually sat there and watched a full grown man go flying, upwards and backwards. He came about four foot off the floor and sailed back, through the air, for about fifteen foot. It was Awesome! George wasn't even Dan graded, at that time.

I've also been kicked round the back of the head, by a Dan grade. Swear to god, I never saw him fukking begin to move! It was like I was watching him, when some kunt hit me on the back of the head with a lump hammer.

So, yeah, I'd suggest Not judging a Ninth Dan Master by your own capabilities.

4ft high and 15ft high huh? Was the opponent made of balsa wood aswell? ??

I remember watching a very very early UFC years ago and some "black belt karate" gave it ago. It looked like he'd never been punched in the face in his life. He got beat to an absolute bloody pulp

Even BJJ is more realistic than most Kung Fu type stuff because basically it’s wrestling and you have to practice that in real time.

There is no doubt some handy Kung fu types out there but I’d suggest they are a very, very small minority......99% of them would get marmalised by some rough old boy off the plot.

Well, there's clearly no pulling the wool over Your eyes, is there?

If you weren't there to see it? Didn't happen. Fair enough. I can't argue with that.

I think you'll struggle to convince anyone of that one pal. My pal got hit by a double decker bus at 30mph and didn't fly through the air for 15ft his heart did stop a couple of times though, ruptured his spleen fractured his skull broke one arm and one leg plus many other injuries. How did this other guy fare of what was clearly a bigger impact?

Sorry? " Convince "? You misunderstand me. I'm not out to convince anyone of anything. Why would I want to?

There we are! Wilf's just pipped me to the post! " it’s only what I have witnessed. " Exactly! I witnessed a bloke getting kicked clear off the mat. You see balsa wood bats. Great. I've no problem with that :)
