That’s the stamp of dog I was thinking about ,Shame that but better to go working than Living a life walking round on a lead

One of the best fox dogs i ever seen was a pure grey, ex track bitch. Took fox regular it loved them, was useless on deer but would catch rabbit and hare. 

Fox was her main quarry and she loved them, unfortunately she was stolen before a litter could be taken from her. 

She took some training to get her used to smaller dogs as she also seen them as fair game.

You can use running dogs on pigs and that's ok until they get smashed into a tree, chestplate or no. The smooth roo dogs I remember as a kid looked like huge, thick set greyhounds.

Just imagine the state of the feet if this were a young greyhound rather than a young Galgo.

Its the worst thing about ex track dogs, 99.9% have had absolutely no socialising, my mate rears his like lurchers they're out across the fields from a young age with his other dogs jumping ditches wire and everything else, it's a nice sight seeing a full greyhound thats calm in normal situations and not running round like a headless chicken, it's the ex track dogs where most lads get their opinions about them from.

No problems so far and its pretty boggy this way

Happy days that hard dry loose they run on is difficult struggle to get footing and can bash feet up the young dog ran well didn’t keep going real wide and ground was loose  

 I’d take one over a greyhound any day have to adapt for that land run it slow Cant be Tearing up the ground like a Subaru or be no tyre left lol

Be good if we could get Galgo's over here. That ground looked like the garden of Eden compared to western NSW last year,  lol.

Where I was it was really bad, even snakes and lizards were dying. The mrs was walking around the paddock with water to save the shingle back lizards. I went around with a shovel to save the snakes, lol.

Luckily we had a spring fed dam to pump into our luxurious pool, lol. We had to keep getting in and out all day to stop from dying of heat stroke.
