Set my first traps today

So after flattening all the hills and taking out all the traps the other day there was 2 new hills this morning when i went, got some duffus delivered the other day so i put down a few of them and will be checking to see if i got any moles in the morning,

Think iv got that bug already mate, soon as i get up im going out, itching to get some cards delivered to get more perms

I always tip up to new places looking for permission and drop in I will do the moles for free.... For some digging, running land for the dogs

Sound mate, be nice to get some more ferreting, shooting perm for rabbits but id be charging for the moles once i get to grips with it properly

Well went back and checked today but nothing in traps, left thm set and will go tomorrow or day after

Went back on tuesday and nothing in traps, went back again this morning and 1 more mole in trap, no new hills anywhere, so thats 5 from this garden in the 2 weeks or so since i set first traps,

Took up all traps now as i can't go back for a week, so if there is any more il tell when i go again

Good advice, that. Its a mistake to undervalue, yourself & sell yourself, short. (i learned that, the hard way, years ago) Soon as your catching, more than your missing (tripped, empty traps/ soil filled,etc, traps) charge for it !

There is a bloke on You Tube,..he traps the moles, & the rats, shoots the corvids & squirrels, etc,..for the farmer. Travels there & back on a 'push bike' , too ,...a says "why aren't you charging the farmer, for moles". (for a start ?),..."ach , am just glad to be out in the fresh air, with this scenery, & the wildlife, etc" ,..he goes. I mean, the guys putting in alot of effort,etc,..farmer, must think 'this is great' ! ffs,... ,any payment, would help pay for the boys gear, surely ? ,...& I also gathered, it wasn't as if he didn't need the money ?,...him & another bloke, talking about it,... a says, yous are "daft" .
