Prw900 lockdown tickle

Bored with lockdown, so took my smk prw900 .177 and give it a lift.

Off with the fake mod/barrel weight ,recrown and fit a barrel band. Add a 12mm /1/2 unf adapter. Ordered a new mod from Mr Blades from airgunforum and a easy use 9 shot mag from evil Bay.

Fitted my Hawke 3_9x50 and zeroed on old Christmas cards as u do.

Mod arrived today so the me assembled (no avengers available )

Here she be in .177

Looks good bc, is the mag a straight replacement or does it need modifications? What capacity is it?

          I remember a bunch of the lads at my club giving one of these rifles a right good test one night.

          They could not believe how good the rifle is for the money spent, proved to be very accurate indeed with power levels just under 11 ft/lbs out of the box.

Mag is a straight replace 9 shot in .177 ,he does a 14 shot as well.

And the same is available in .22 for them that needs.

Yes Mark its a little cracker ,I put my targets on 3mm drywipe board and it goes through happily. 

Can't wait to "introduce it" down on my perm when lockdown lifts .

Its so quiet I think the bunnies are in for a shock atb

Looks great im going to get one of these soon. Was the standard mod any good? And was it easy to replace with an aftermarket one?

Standard mod is just a barrel weight, doesn't do anything. Remove it and then cut the step off the end of the barrel, recrown then get a "guntuff" or similar 

12mm to 1/2 unf adapter from evil Bay to fit the end of the rifle. 

Then add any mod you like with a 1/2 thread ,mines a Blades fatboy from airgunforum. 

The end trim is easy enough just be patient and cut straight atb

Must admit that I did think about one of these in .22 as a dedicated ratter for a contract we just got as I think the .177 will just go straight through at closer range but cant afford another new hw110k more is the pity.  I also heard these punch well above their price tag.
