The wee Scottish witch

Recommended Posts

Salmond has one of the biggest ego's in politics.

No way does he want to be remembered as " that sex pest jock politician ".

He will bring down Sturgeon, the SNP and independence to clear his name.

Sad thing is.... he will still be remembered as " that sex pest jock politician".

Cheers.

She's giving her side today, will she burn or escape on her broomstick? I see they were forced to release the legal advice that confirmed that there was no case to be won against salmond and she was advised not to proceed but did regardless.

There's the little anomaly that if she's found guilty of misleading parliament and lying, the Ministerial Code advises she resigns.....but.....it's the First ministers decision to implement that advice, and, of course she IS the First Minister.

My thoughts are it will be fudged, she may be admonshished for misleading parliament "by accident, not deliberately", and she will decide that isn't serious enough for her to resign.

Then they will be free to try and make Scotland a "one party state", governed by Brussels.

Cheers.

Scotland only has one hope of getting  EU ascension and that is the fishing rights that the EU desperately need. But, as has been pointed out; the Spanish are not happy with Wee Jimmy for giving a Catalonian politician refuge and protection from prosecution. Also, it is not in Spanish interests to support a breakaway state as that would give them problems with their own wannabee breakaway state; Catalonia. If you go to northern Spain virtually every town and village are decked out with Catalonian flags and independence slogans.

Scotland would find it very hard to justify the EU's fiscal criteria and they are hardly likely to fudge it again like they did with Greece and Cyprus and have another basket case to support.
